Audie "Pug" Adkins Jr.
(September 3, 1946 - December 2, 2013)



Audie Adkins Jr. "Pug", 67, of East Lynn, WV, passed away Monday, December 2, 2013 at Wayne Nursing Home. He was born September 3, 1946, in Wayne County, WV, a son of the late Audie and Reba Adkins. He was preceded in death by his sister, Inez Adkins, five half brothers and six half sisters. He is survived by a son Audie Duwayne Adkins and a daughter, Teressa Ann; three granddaughters, Savanna, Jessie and Andra; three great-grandchildren; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Alice and Hughie Adkins of East Lynn, WV, with whom he made his home, Linda and Everett Dillman of Huntington, WV and Carolyn and Hanable Adkins of East Lynn, WV; one brother and sister-in-law, Charley and Joyce Adkins of Wayne; brother-in-law Kermit Adkins; and many nephews, nieces, and friends. The family would like to thank the staff of Wayne Nursing Home for their care and kindness during his stay. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, December 7, 2013 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by the Rev. A.J. Perry and Rev. Garland Perry. Burial will be in Bowen Cemetery, Huntington. Visitation will be Friday from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville.
