RAMONA JEAN GIBSON
(January 1, 1932 - May 29, 2015)



RAMONA JEAN GIBSON, 83, of Wayne, W.Va., woke up in the arms of Jesus on Friday, May 29, 2015. She was born January 1, 1932 in Cabell County, W.Va., a daughter of the late Arthur and Jewell Hensley Wheeler. She was retired from Coyne Textile and Corbin LTD. She was a member of Bowen Ridge Church. She was preceded in death by one son, Donald Wayne Gibson, one grandson, Michael Ray Bartram, one sister, Phyllis Loraine Wheeler, and two brothers, Kenneth Wheeler and Lance Krehe Wheeler. She is survived by her husband of sixty-seven years, Donald Gibson; one daughter and son-in-law, Catherine Kay and Charles David Dick of Wayne, W.Va.; one son, Steven Eric Gibson of Huntington; three sisters, Carolyn Jones of Athalia, Ohio, Marian Broughton of Kettering, Ohio, and Patricia Eubank of Huntington; three brothers, Raymond Wheeler of Gallipolis, Ohio, David Lee Wheeler of Lexington, Ky and Mitchell Wheeler of Huntington; six grandchildren, Sheila Bartram, Shawn Jeffrey, Seth Jeffrey, Melissa Dick, David Dick and Billy Dick; ten great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren. There will be no visitation. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m., Monday June 1, 2015 at the White Chapel Memorial Gardens Mausoleum with Pastor Jesse Lacy officiating. Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville, in charge of arrangements. "For I am ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing." II Timothy 4: 6-8.
