Alma Delores Yeager Hager
(December 24, 1933 - June 18, 2017)



ALMA DELORES "Blue Eyes" YEAGER HAGER, 83, of Russellville, Ky., died June 18, 2017, at Creekwood Rehab and Nursing Home in Russellville, Ky., after a long illness. Alma was born December 24, 1933, to Wilburn and Mary Chandler Yeager of Hubball, W.Va. Alma was preceded in death by her parents, Wilburn and Mary Yeager, a brother, Norris Jr. Yeager, brother-in-law, David B. Johnson, and half-sister, Connie Settle. Alma is survived by her sister, Margaret Yeager Johnson of Russellville, Ky.; two daughters, Barbara J. Adkins (Bill Hall) of Ashland, Ky., and Joy Holton Ray (Bruce Ray) of Huntington, W.Va.; two grandsons, James J. Adkins II of Owens Cross Roads, Ala., and Kenny Holton (Heather) of Coal Grove, Ohio. Alma had five great-grandchildren, Victoria Adkins, Jasmine Adkins, Isabella Holton, Logan Holton and step-great-grandson Dustin Reid. Alma worked for the U.S. Post Office in Branchland, W.Va., for many years. Alma retired in 1999 from Civil Service in Huntsville, Ala. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, June 23, 2017, at White Chapel Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Barboursville, by Minister Paul Stephens. Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville, is in charge of local arrangements.
