Shirley Ann Gibson Lucas Scarberry, age 71, took her last breath on this Earth and entered Heaven on Monday, February 24th, 2020. Shirley was born on November 10th, 1948, to Carl and Pansy Belvin Gibson, who preceded her in death. Also preceding her was her sister Carol Louise and grandson Shawn Barker. Shirley is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Larry. Also surviving are her children: Tomi Lynn (Steve) Coley, Carol (David) Beckett, Matthew Lucas, Christy (John) Clendenen, Lisa (Greg) Kinnaird and Tommy (Annie) Scarberry; grandchildren: Shayla, Jessyca, Christopher, Kayla (Thomas), Caitlin, Joyanna and Mia; great grandchildren: Jackson, Spooner, Charlotte and also Grant whom she was so looking forward to meeting. Also surviving are her dear sister Gloria (Dave) Algeo and Tracy (Jeff) Gordon, brother Gregg (Janet) Scarberry, along with numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends, including Joye (Craig) Tucker, Chuck Algeo, Joseph and Emma Tucker, special Aunt Hazel Belvin and best friend and cousin Teresa Gibson. She had too many friends to count and loved her River Cities Community Church Family as well. We truly are missing a piece of our family and our lives will never again be the same. Services to celebrate the special and vibrant life of this Wife, Mother, Sister, Aunt, Mamaw and Friend will be held at Wallace Funeral Home in Barboursville. Visitation is on Saturday, February 29th, 2020, from 5pm to 7pm with service immediately following at 7pm.
