HELEN L. EGNOR, 85 of South Point, OH passed away Monday January 3, 2011 at St. Mary’s Medical Center. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 2:00 PM at Beard Mortuary with Minister Bob Huron officiating. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens. She was born October 17, 1925 in Milton, WV, a daughter of the late John and Nora Powell Wolford. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Rush; a sister and three brothers. She was an employee of The Cabell County Board of Education. She was an active and faithful member of Guyandotte Church of Christ for over 70 years. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Vicki and Larry Bertie of South Point, OH; a son and daughter-in-law, Terry Joe and LuAnne of Proctorville, OH; three grandchildren and their spouses, Miranda and Matthew Dickerson of Beavercreek, OH; Jacinda and Lucas Cockerham of Richmond, KY and Trevor and Cheryl Egnor of Proctorville, OH; a great granddaughter, Olivia Dickerson and several nieces and nephews. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Guyandotte Church of Christ of Howell’s Mill Christian Assembly, Ona, WV. The family will receive friends after 12:00 noon on Thursday at Beard Mortuary.
