Obituary
AVINELL ADKINS BROWNING, 80, of Huntington, widow of Donald Rex Browning, passed away at her residence on Tuesday, May 10, 2011. She was born on July 5, 1930 in Logan County, WV, a daughter of the late Luther and Rhoda Adkins. This elegant, loving, independent lady is survived by two daughters; Jeanne (Dale) Rowe of Huntington and Rebecca (Greg) Keyes of Birmingham, AL; a sister, Darreth McGuire of Ashland, KY; a brother, Rodney (Sue) Adkins of Nashville, TN; four grandchildren, Jimmy (Tabitha) Johnston, Jessica (Josh) Jones, both of Huntington, Jennifer (Scott) Davison of Indianapolis, IN and Greg Keyes Jr. of Birmingham, AL; her beloved friend, Kenny Shank; six great-grandchildren; and her best friend, Ann Black. She was a retired banker from Bank One. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 14, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at Beard Mortuary, Huntington, with Rev. Paul Farley and Rev. Delbert Holly officiating. Burial will follow at Woodmere Memorial Park, Huntington. “Mom is dancing with the angels”. Friends may call on Friday evening from 6 – 8 p.m. at the mortuary.
