Dolores J. Price
(October 7, 1933 - June 2, 2012)

DOLORES JEAN JORDAN PRICE passed away peacefully in her sleep surrounded by her family on Saturday, June 2, 2012. Jean was born October 7, 1933, to Paul Edward Jordan and Ruth Staton Jordan in Huntington, W.Va. Jean was preceded in death by her husband, soul mate and traveling companion of 53 years, Charles Edward Price. She is survived by her four daughters, Constance Ruth Rencsok (Dave) of Washington, N.C., Donna Price Wilson of Columbus, Ohio, Jane Elizabeth Price of Lexington, Ky., and Carrie Price Cox (Patrick) of Lexington, Ky. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, Stewart Douglas Smith (Alison), Cara Rencsok Singleton (Andy), Katherine Elizabeth Smith (Dane Nighswander), Cristen Rencsok Switzer (Frederick), Charles Spenser Wilson, Alexandra Elizabeth Fairbarns Price and Jessica Taylor Cox; and five great-grandchildren, Charles Henry Smith, Bailey Singleton, Charles Frederick Switzer, Fiona Jane Nighswander and Callie Switzer. She is also survived by her sisters Ramona Mills (Curtis) and Donna White (Billy Joe); several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends. She graduated from Huntington East High School and attended Marshall University. Jean served and belonged to many clubs and organizations over the years including the DAR, Colonial Dames, Beta Sigma Phi, and UK Fellows. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday at Spring Hill Cemetery at Huntington, W.Va., at 2 p.m. Visitation will be held in Lexington, Ky., on Monday at Milward-Broadway from 5 to 7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Huntington City Mission.
