WILLIAM MARION MORRIS JR., 73, of Kenova, passed away on Friday, December 11, 2015 at St. Mary’s Medical Center. He was born on October 30, 1942 in Huntington, a son of the late William Marion Morris Sr. and Margaret Laird (Faulkner) Morris. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Jane Hall. He is survived by his sons, William Morris III of Kenova and John (Yvette) Null of Huntington; the mother of his sons, Connie; sister, Patricia Ann Mullett; brother Phillip Russell Morris; granddaughter, Caitlin Elizabeth Null; niece, Melinda Jane Hensley; and nephew, Larry Mullett II. Mr. Morris was a member of New Baptist Church, a Veteran of the U.S. Army Reserve and was the manager of the gun department at Mack and Dave’s for the past 56 years. Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, December 13, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Beard Mortuary, Huntington, with Pastor Ron Burnsworth officiating. Burial will follow a White Chapel Memorial Gardens in Barboursville. Visitation will be held two hours before the service at the mortuary.
