Sarah L. Blevins, 91, of Huntington, WV, formerly of Logan, WV, had a peaceful passing in the presence of her adoring and devoted family on Oct., 24, 2016. Alzheimer's stole her memory but never her beautiful sweet spirit. She was a devout Christian, loving mother and wife.  Services to honor her will be held at noon on Thursday, Oct., 27, 2016 at Trinity Church of God on 27th Street and Third Ave. with Pastor Ken Toler officiating. Burial will follow at approximately 3:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Pecks Mill, WV. The family will receive friends after 11:00 a.m. at the church. She was born November 30, 1924 the daughter of the late Everett and Bell Wiley Crabtree. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Blevins and five siblings. She was a member and former Sunday school teacher at First Church of God, Logan, WV and member of Trinity Church of God, Huntington, WV.  She is survived by her children, Glenna Briguglio (Tommy) of Palm Coast, Fl; Brenda Hughes (Gary) of Huntington, Rita Propst (Mike) of Bluffton, SC, Jackson Blevins (Teresa) of Alexandria, VA; Bud Blevins (Sylvie) of Stafford, VA. Grandchildren, T.C. Briguglio, Shawn Hughes, Amy Propst Mefford, Brent Propst (Brooke) and Jeremy Blevins; four great-grandchildren, Reece Hughes, Preston and Sara Gracyn Propst and Noah Michael Propst (Angel in Heaven) and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to Misty Scott, Linda Endicott and the wonderful staff at Hospice of Huntington for their love, care and friendship.
