Ronald G. Campbell
(September 13, 1945 - June 6, 2018)



Ronald G. Campbell, 72, of Huntington, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 6, 2018. He was the beloved husband of Nausha C. Campbell and the loving father of Zachary G. Campbell. He was born on September 13, 1945 in Port Angeles, Washington.  He was a graduate of Marshall University and was retired from Ron’s Cheese Corner and pharmacy management. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Maxine Campbell and a brother, David. In addition to his wife and son, he is survived by his brothers, Charles T. (Donna) Campbell, Bruce (Kathy) Campbell, and his sister, Tina V. Campbell Haynes. Ronald was a faithful member of St. George Orthodox Cathedral in Charleston where he was in the choir and St. Ignatius. He has sung with the Marshall Choral Union and the Musical Arts Guild. Ronald was also past president of the Barboursville Rotary and belonged to City Club and was co-originator of a long-standing poker group. He and his wife were members of the CQ Dance Club in Charleston and the Ivy and Regency Dance clubs in Huntington. He loved his God, his church, his family, and traveling. He was a kind Christian man with an outgoing personality who never met a stranger and never complained. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at St. George Orthodox Cathedral, 201 Court Street in Charleston. The family will welcome friends after 10:00 A.M. A visitation will also be held on Saturday from 3:00 to 4:00 P.M. at Beard Mortuary in Huntington. Burial will follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens in Barboursville.
