Nancy L. Insco Pieta
(January 17, 1938 - November 14, 2018)



Nancy L. Insco Pieta, 80 of Huntington, WV went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at Heartland of Riverview, South Point, OH. Services will be held on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Highlawn Presbyterian Church with Mr. Jim Musgrave officiating. The family will receive friends at 10:00 a.m. until service time at the church. She was born January 17, 1938 in Huntington, WV the daughter of the late Norman B. and Mabel Smith Osburn. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Leo Insco, Jr.; her second husband, William “Bill” Pieta and a brother James Osburn. Nancy was retired from C&O Railroad. She was a member, former elder and circle chairman at Highlawn Presbyterian Church. She was a 1956 graduate of Huntington East High School and enjoyed helping with class reunions. She volunteered in several capacities for many years for the Beverly Hills Youth Midget League. She was the “mayor” of Mikes Market where she never met a stranger and made many friends. She is survived by her loving family, a daughter, Sherri Insco-Gagnon of Huntington; two sons and daughters-in-law, Michael L. and Diana of Barboursville, WV and James “Jimbo” and Susan of Huntington; four grandchildren, Michael E. Insco, Branden M. Insco, Alicia P. (AAron) Nield and Jacob Cole Insco; five great grandchildren, including a special great grandchild, Haylee Insco; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends. The family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to Dr. David Apgar, the staff and her caregivers Tabitha and Erika at Heartland of Riverview for their excellent care.
