Samuel Edward Hardwick
(May 7, 1943 - November 2, 2020)

Samuel Edward Hardwick, 77 of Ceredo, WV passed away peacefully on Monday, November 2, 2020 at his residence. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at Beard Mortuary with Pastor Robert Withers officiating. Burial will follow in Ridgelawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends after 1:00 p.m. He was born May 7, 1943 in Kenova, WV the son of the late Samuel and Rosalee Hazlett Hardwick. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Bertha Higginbotham Hardwick. He was a member, deacon and trustee at Seventh Avenue Baptist Church and a member of Improved Order of Redmen Mohawk Tribe #11. Sam was retired from INCO Alloys. He is survived by two sons, Chris Hardwick of Huntington and Greg (Maya Lane) Hardwick of Cross Lanes, WV; and a sister, Patty (Larry) Fowler of Yulee, FL. The family would like to thank his caregiver, Mia for her excellent care, Right at Home Personal Care Service, and to Hospice of Huntington.
