Fredrick Ward
(June 5, 1939 - May 30, 2008)

Fredrick B. "Fred" Ward 68 of Huntington, died Friday, May 30, 2008 at his home. He is the husband of Marion Floyd Ward. He was employed by the Hieners Bakery and was retired from the US Corps of Engineers. He was a veteren of the US Air Force. In addition to his wife he is survived by 3 sons; Fredrick B. Ward, Jr of Pittsburgh, PA, Derrick Ward of York, PA, and Montel Hammond of Pittsburgh, PA, 5 daughters; Dana Ward of Pittsburgh, PA, Monica Burham of Pittsburgh, PA, Michele Ward, Mary Ward and Robin Ward all of Huntington, WV, 4 brothers; John Terry Ward and Gleyn Ward both of Pittsburgh, PA, Calvin Ward of Huntington, WV, and John Ward of Connecticut, 2 sisters; Linda Byrd and Fannie Birdsong both of Georgia, 12 grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. The Home Going Celebation of Fred's life will be 12:00Noon at the Calvary Missionary Baptist Church Church 915 Eighth Avenue, Huntington, WV with Bishop John Martin, officiating. Burial will follow in Woodmere Memorial Park. Friends may call from 11:00AM until the time of the service at the church.
