Mary Cleone Anderson Gordon
(1922 - September 13, 2010)

Mary Cleone Anderson Gordon, 88 of Huntington, WV died Monday, September 13, 2010 at St. Mary's Hospital. She was the oldest daughter of Macedonia Anderson and Robert Anderson who preceded her in death. Also proceeded in death by a brother Moses Anderson, and a sister Azalea Nicholson. She graduated from Lincoln High School, Hinton, WV. She received Christ at an early age and served Him her entire life. Cleone worked diligently many, many years; first at Hinton Hospital, then Huntington Hospital, next Cabell-Huntington Hospital and retired from Marshall University in 1987. She leaves to cherish her memories, 3 daughters: Ruth (Archie) Page of Huntington, Reona (Horace) Baker of Richmond, VA and Macedonia Vickerson of Atlanta, GA. 12 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren. She leaves a sister Olivia Johnson, a brother Robert Anderson both of Charlottesville, VA and Prophetess Laura Sea and many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was greatly loved, a very quiet and gentle soul who dedicated her life to her family and loved ones. Services will be 12:00 Noon Friday at the Shiloh Seventh Day Adventist Church, with Pastor Jason Ridley, officiating. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at the church.
