CHARLOTTE JANE WISE, age 92, of Huntington, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 6 at The Woodlands. She was the last surviving charter member of Enslow Park Presbyterian Church. The daughter of Russell E. and Rausia Dunfee Wise, Charlotte retired from INCO, now Special Metals, after 40+ years as a clerical buyer. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Russell and William Dunfee Wise. Charlotte leaves behind many dear friends and loved-ones: sisters-in-law Jessie Wise of Huntington and Jane Wise, of Palm Desert, California; nephews and nieces, Russell Wise of New Orleans, Louisiana, Cynthia Wise Shabes of Marina Del Rey, California, Rebecca Wise Mancini of Palm Springs, California, Kathryn Wise of Palm Desert, California, Jane and John Hess of Huntington, and Beth and Hayes Shelton of Elkins; grand nieces and nephews Michael Wise, Dr. Robert Wise of Shreveport, Louisiana, TJ Wise of New Orleans, Louisiana, John Ryan Henson, of Elkins, David Billups, of Richmond, Kentucky, Col. John Jason Hess and Lt. Col. Stacy Hess of Barboursville, and John Andrew and Jenna Hess of Huntington; a cherished great-grand niece, Lauren Taylor Hess; and a much adored great-grand nephew, John Lincoln Hess. Her family would like to express heart-felt gratitude to all the dear friends and staff who cared for and supported Charlotte during her stay at The Woodlands. She was loved by all. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Enslow Park Presbyterian Church. Funeral arrangements are pending and incomplete.
