Thomas David Curry
(May 20, 1936 - October 15, 2014)


Thomas David Curry, 78, of Huntington, WV, passed away Wednesday, October 15, 2014, in St. Mary’s Medical Center. Funeral Liturgy will be 9:30 am Saturday, October 18, 2014, at Our Lady of Fatima Church. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. He was born May 20, 1936, in Cabell County WV, a son of the late Gordon and Mattie Wood Curry. His first wife Margaret Ann “Peg” Curry, one daughter, Marcia Ellen Curry, and a brother, Richard L. Curry also preceded him in death. He was a US Navy veteran and a retired hydraulic engineer with the US Army Corps of Engineers with 35 years of service. He was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Church where he served as Eucharistic Minister, and a HAM Radio operator WBAQCN. Survivors include his life partner, Millie Smith Curry of Huntington; three daughters, Sally Pauley of Charleston, WV, Janet Varnes and Kimberly Conley both of Huntington; three sons, Thomas David Curry II, of Ona, Danny Curry of Milton, and Brian Curry of Huntington; two brothers and their wives, John and Marie Curry of Kenova, Ron and Rebecca Curry of Summitt, KY, and a sister-in-law, Rita Curry; 9 grandchildren and 39 great-grandchildren.
