Robert Edward Lyles 75, of Huntington, died Tuesday, March 7, 2017 in the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. Funeral services will be conducted at noon Saturday, March 11, 2017, at Chapman's Mortuary, with Pastor Donte Jackson officiating. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery. He was born August 27, 1941, in Cabell County, WV, a son of the late James Henry and Sarah Alice Hunter Lyles. One brother Charles H. Lyles also preceded him in death. He worked as a medical records clerk. Survivors include one sister, Mary Black of Washington, DC; one brother, James Lyles, Sr., of Ft. Washington, MD; his caregiver and nephew, James E. Lyles of Huntington; and a host of other nieces and nephews. Friends may call one hour prior to service time Saturday at the funeral home.
