Carl Edward Ray, 89, of Barboursville, WV, died Saturday December 14, 2019 in Bradenton, FL. Funeral service will be conducted at noon Friday December 20, 2019 at Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington with Pastor Kerry Bart officiating. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. Veterans Honor Guard Post 16 will conduct Military Honors. Carl was born April 15, 1930 in Cabell County, WV a son of the late Ralph and Gertrude Bowen Ray. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and retired postal worker and a member of the First United Methodist Church Barboursville, WV. Also preceding him in death were two brothers, Lloyd and Jack Ray and a sister Glenna Berry. Survivors include his wife Jeanetta Osburn Ray, and a brother and sister-in-law, Fred and Judy Ray of Huntington. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until noon at the funeral home on Friday.
