Grant Hayden, 76, of Huntington, husband of 53 years to Morine Thompson Hayden, died Friday, June 12, 2020 in St. Mary's Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at Chapman's Mortuary with Rev. L.D. Hutchison officiating. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens. He was born June 17, 1943 in Paintsville KY., a son of the late Richard and Trian Jane Staniford Hayden. Grant had several brothers and sisters precede him in death. He was Baptist by faith and was retired from CSX working as a trackman for over 30 years. In addition to his wife, Morine, survivors include his son, Ricky Allen Hayden of Russell, KY; three grandchildren, Richard Allen Hayden of Ashland, Taylor Marie Hayden of Flatwoods, KY, and Lily Grace Hayden of Flatwoods; his sister, Elsie Sue Clark of Paintsville; his brother, Asie Hayden of Paintsville; and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call 6:00-8:00 PM Monday at Chapman's Mortuary.
