Obituary

Ronnie L. “Uncle Ron” Bowen, 57, of Huntington, WV, passed away Monday, September 3, 2007. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 am Tuesday, September 11, 2007 at the Ferrell-Chambers Funeral Home with Minister Everett Bowen officiating and Steve Nida assisting. Interment will follow in Baylous Cemetery, Salt Rock, WV. Ronnie was born February 14, 1950, in Huntington, WV to the late Everett and Mary Mayes Bowen. He was retired from General Motors Corp. and was a waste water treatment engineer. He is survived by his wife Dee Bowen, three sons, Ronnie Lee Bowen Jr. of St. Louis, MO; Adam (Jessica) Bowen of Huntington; and Nicholas (Jessica) Bowen of Huntington, two daughters, Shelly (Ken) Adams of Flint, MI; and LauraBeth (Ricky) Meade of Huntington, one sister, Nancy Lane of Lesage, WV; and one brother, Everett (Sandy) Bowen Jr. of Baldwin, MI, and fourteen grandchildren. Calling hours will be from 6 to 8 pm Monday at the funeral home.
