Obituary

Dorothy Louise Wyatt, age 85, our beloved mother, grandmother and friend, in the company of her loving family, at St. Mary’s Hospital, peacefully received her wings on Wednesday, June 25, 2008, to begin her eternal life with our Heavenly Father in the Divine Kingdom. Family and friends will gather at Ferrell-Chambers Funeral Home at 2 pm on Sunday, June 29, 2008 to celebrate her life with Pastor Joseph Pratt officiating. Burial will follow in Baylous Cemetery, Salt Rock. Dorothy was born on August 31, 1922 in Crown City, Ohio, a daughter of the late Charles and Margaret Martin. She was a homemaker. She was a long time member of the Kenova Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband James Thomas Wyatt a daughter Mary Louise Wyatt and a great-grandchild, Jakob Allen Wyatt. She is survived by her sister, Edith Fuller; four brothers, Oda Martin, Okey Martin, Robert Martin and Pete Martin; eight children, Roma Bartee, Gerald Wyatt both of Huntington, Judy Wyatt Howard of Reynoldsburg, OH, Richard (June) Wyatt, Connie Wyatt, Jimmy (Linda) Wyatt, Rhonda (Dale) Barker and Chuck (Teresa) Wyatt all of Huntington; eleven grandchildren, Brent, Jerry, Tershanda, Misty, Rochelle, Marie, Christa, Cara, Kelly, Amanda and Alica; nine great-grandchildren, Cody, Natasha, Alex, Danyel, Courtney, Madison, Jed, Lily and Isaac; one great-great-grandchild, Aubree, and many friends. She touched the lives of many and will be greatly missed by all. Visitation will be Saturday 6 to 9 pm at the funeral home.
