Herbert Pitts
(November 28, 1957 - July 24, 2009)

A beautiful life was ended July 24, 2009. Herbert Pitts, 51, of Huntington, was born on November 11, 1957 to the late Eliza P. Arwine. He was baptized at Calvary Missionary Baptist church at an early age and later attended Spirit of the Lord United Holy Church. He had worked for both Bob Evans and Shoney's Restaurants. Herbert was preceded in death by his mother, Elize Arwine; his step-father, Elmer J. Arwine; a brother, Michael Lee; an aunt, grandparents, uncles, cousins, and other relatives. He leaves to cherish his memory his aunt, Brenda L. Crawford; cousins; a very special girlfriend, Hope Brown; and a special friend, Susette Harper Simms. A Memorial Service will be held 5:00 pm Wednesday, July 29, 2009 at Ferrell-Chambers Funeral Home, Huntington with Elder Nathaniel Ward officiating.
