Sharon Lynn Steele Owens Parsons, 62, of Huntington, WV passed away Friday, September 4, 2009 at Edgewood Manor, Lucasville, Ohio. Sharon was born October 29, 1946 in Huntington, WV a daughter of the late Leonard and Jesse Stevenson Steele. She was a loving homemaker and mother. She is survived by two daughters, Rhonda A. (William) McClanahan and Melissa L. Owens and her companion Phillip Lewis all of Huntington; four grandchildren, Jessica Pleasant, Jennifer Owens, Jordan Owens and Megan Lewis; six, soon to be eight, great-grandchildren, one brother, Tim (Frankie) Steele of Huntington, and one sister, Margaret (Roy) Bartram of Lavalette. Graveside service 1 pm Tuesday, September 8, 2009 at Docks Creek Cemetery, Wayne with Pastor Roger Mooney officiating. Ferrell-Chambers Funeral Home, Huntington is assisting the family.
