Elberta Frederick
(February 14, 1932 - October 19, 2010)

Elberta Lambert Pulley Frederick, 78, of Huntington passed away Tuesday at Hospice House of Huntington. Funeral Services will be held, 11am Friday October 22, 2010 at Ferrell-Chambers Funeral Home with Rev. Janet Mounts officiating. Interment will follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens. Elberta was born February 14, 1932 in Lincoln Co. WV a daughter of the late General T. Lambert and Emma M Dewitt Lambert. She had retired as a nurse’s aid for Fairhaven Rest Home, and was a member of the Pentecostal Truth Ministries. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by four sisters; Ada Lambert, Dee Porter, Opal Milam and Lois Lambert; and two brothers, Namon Lambert and Earnest “Hawk” Lambert. Elberta is survived by one daughter, Joyce Maynard, one sister, Mildred (Don) Cutlip all of Huntington, WV. four grandchildren; Margaret Burks Rooper, Brenda Burks Gimpl, Kathy Burks Moore, and Allen Glen Maynard, two special nieces and a nephew, James Laney, Tammie Tallman, and Christy Hobbs, nine great-grandchildren, two step great-grandchildren, and a special family friend Denver Toppings. Visitation will be 6-8 pm Thursday at Ferrell-Chambers Funeral Home.
