Margaret Jean Fortner
(December 16, 1935 - December 14, 2012)

Margaret Jean Fortner, 76 of Huntington passed away December 14, 2012 at her residence. She was born December 16, 1935 a daughter of the late Archie Hatten and Myrtle Smith Hatten. She was a Homemaker and enjoyed donating to the Fellowship Life Study. Margaret is survived by one daughter; Deborah McCloud (James) of Huntington, four sons; Harry L. Early, Albert "Howard" Early (Debra), Samuel D. Early (Dee), Zeke A. Fortner (Samantha) all of Huntington, one brother; Albert Howard Hatten (Eca), grandchildren; Tanya Mari, Harry Dale Early, Howie Early, Eric Early, Amy Early, Anthony Early, Samantha Early, Brandon Early, Mike Heady, David France, Mike France, Chris France, Jeremy France, Sunshine McCloud, Nathan Fortner, and Sandra Fortner, great-grandchildren; Haley, Sierra, Gavin, Reese, Coltin, Daughter of Harry Dale Early, Matthew, Dustin, Bethany, Caleb, Abby, Katie, Destiny, Halee, Tallee, Ian, Christopher, Mikie, Maddie, Cole, Piers, Aubrey, Austin, Ashtin, and Airiana two special friends; Ronald R. Stevens, and Toni Ashworth. Several nieces, nephews, and friends also survive. Funeral Services will be conducted 1:00pm Tuesday December 18, 2012 at Ferrell-Chambers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery, Huntington. Visitation will be Monday December 17, 2012 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the Funeral Home.
