Obituary

Gloria Jean McNiel
(January 16, 1947 - February 23, 2012)

Gloria Jean McNiel 65 of Huntington went to rest on Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at Heritage Nursing Home in the presence of those who loved and cared for her. Homegoing services will be 3:00PM Saturday, February 25, 2012 at the Spirit of the Lord United Holy Church with Elder Nathaniel Tucker Ward, officiating. Gloria will be missed not only as a beloved mother, sister, grandmother, and aunt, but also as a loyal member of her church family. Gloria jean was the daughter of Framkie and Daphine Pierce Hill who preceded her in death. She is survived by two sons, Thomas Hill of Huntington, WV and Kenneth Hill and wife Yhvonne Hill of Hampton, VA. Additional survivors include one sister, Mary Robinson, 10 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends. Visitation will be from 2:00PM until the time of the service at the church. The care and services of Ms. McNiel is under the direction of Ferrell-Chambers Funeral Home, Huntington.
