Ernest Gibson
(March 3, 1933 - May 6, 2012)

Ernest Gibson, 79 of Proctorville Ohio passed away May 6, 2012. He was born March 3, 1933 in Huntington, WV a son of the late Pearce Gibson and Jessie Laney Gibson. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Charlie Gibson. Survivors include 8 children; Barbara A. Baldwin (Randy) of Clinton, IA, Carol S. Walker (Robert) of Proctorville, OH, Roger L. Gibson of South Point, OH, Ernest Gibson of Louisiana, John R. Gibson of Huntington, Ruby P Spangler of Huntington, Lillie M Howard of Colorado Springs, CO, and June Medium of Clinton, IA. Several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, one great-great Grandchild, nieces, nephews, and friends also survive. Funeral Services will be conducted 2pm Wednesday May 9, 2012 at Ferrell-Chambers Funeral Home with Rev. Cleo Watson officiating. Burial will follow in Docks Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
