Imogene Scott
(August 19, 1939 - April 13, 2014)

Imogene Scott, 74 of Huntington, WV passed away Wednesday, April 13, 2014. She was born August 19, 1939 in Huntington, WV, daughter of late Bertha Carter Liggins and Eugene Thompson. She retired from Marshall University Physical Plant of 35 years. Proceeding her death sisters Robbie Alice Brown Motley, Peggy Holman, Brother John E Hawkins Jr, Niece Valerie L Brown, Great Niece Teesa Brown and Great Great Nephew Antwan Grant. She leaves to cherish her memories: One daughter Tonetta Scott Huntington, WV, Granddaughter Sheneka Scott and Great Granddaughter Jeanise Graves of Columbus, OH.  Two sisters Helen Trotter, Nora Speight and   Three Brothers Eugene, Stevie and Billy Thompson of Hampton, VA.;  Nieces, Eva, Lisa and Tina Motley of Huntington, WV and Necia Brown of Wheeling, WV three nephews, Tony, Keith and Robbie Brown of Huntington, WV; Great nieces and nephews, Robbie Allison Motley, Alphonso, Clyde and Donja Brown, Derek, Katie and Rhisa Brown of Huntington, WV, Korey Long and Tisha M Jordan of Ashland, KY; Great Great nieces and nephews, La Kiah (Ki Ki) Smith, Thomas White Jr. Cieasha, Serenity, Marquis, Martines, Shkiya and Donja Brown, Chantee and Miranda Jordan of Ashland, KY and other relatives. Special Thanks to Great Nephew Alphonso Brown and Niece Connie Adkins-Brown. Funeral Services will be 1:00PM Saturday, April 19, 2014 in the Chapel of Ferrell-Chambers Funeral Home, with the Reverend Roy E. Terry, officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn memorial Gardens. Friends may call form Noon until the time of the service.
