John Hampton Pierson IV
(February 7, 1975 - March 19, 2015)

John Hampton Pierson IV, 40, of Huntington, WV, passed away on March 19, 2015 at Cabell Huntington Hospital. He was born on February 7, 1975 in Huntington, WV. He was the son of John Hampton Pierson Jr. and Francine Byrd. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at 11 A.M. with visitation one hour prior at Full Gospel Assembly Church with Bishop Samuel Moore, officiating. Burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Huntington, WV. John was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, James and Pearl Byrd. He leaves behind to mourn his loss, his paternal grandparents, John and Ethel Pierson, his parents; his children, Jordan, Elijah (Johnny), Maxwell, Pierson and Jayla, and two grandchildren that are on the way. Also surviving are his brothers, Joseph, Joshua and Josiah; his sisters, Danita and Lydia; two nieces, Alaysha and Kennedy, and a host of other relatives and friends. John had a great personality. He greeted everyone with a hug and a kiss and made you feel loved. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
