Dana "Anté" Myers
(September 27, 1982 - November 25, 2018)

Dana "Anté" Myers, 36, of Huntington WV passed away Sunday, November 25, 2018 at St. Mary’s Medical Center.  He was born on September 27, 1982 to Dana M. Myers (Karen)  and the late, Janice N. Gould. He is preceded in death by grandparents, Joan & Major Myers and Aileen Johnson; and uncles, Kevin Myers, Samuel Lightener, Jackson Jones, Jr. and Neil Madison. Anté enjoyed life and touched many lives along the way. His favorite teams were the Oakland Raiders and Marshall University football team. Anté especially loved the outdoors, fishing, skiing, hunting and going to the beach. And the times he spent with his family and friends and being a good father to his daughter. He leaves behind to cherish his memory; daughter, Dayna Aleigha Myers; sisters, Chandra Gould Jones (Kennieth) of Atlanta, GA, Joanna Myers of Warner Robins, GA, Brittany Bennett of Macon, GA, Shykara and Shyneka Garrett of Huntington, WV; brothers, Chris and Xavier Bennett of Macon, GA, Thomas Garrett of Huntington, WV and Octavius Newsome of Atlanta GA.  Also, surviving are his aunts, Claudia Grayson of Memphis, TN, Sarah Jones, Dorothy Reinhart, Yvonne Hayes, Rochelle Myers, Petra Ichite, Teresa Crisp and Vickie Garrett all of Huntington, WV, Keva Myers of Beckley, WV, Renee Cleckley (Steven) of Chesapeake, OH; uncles, Obie Madison, Cincinnati OH, George Madison (Sharon), Major and Vincent Myers, William and Tony Garrett all of Huntington, WV. He also leaves special friend, Leigh Ann Estep. With special acknowledgements; to friends Chris Thomas and Dirk Harriston and a very special friend, Clyde Cooper, Jr. and a host of loving extended family members and friends. May the Angels be with you! Love you Anté! Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M., Monday, December 3, 2018 at Full Gospel Assembly with Bishop Samuel R. Moore, Pastor, officiating.  Family will welcome friends at 11:00 A.M.  Burial will follow services at Spring Hill Cemetery.
