Obituary
Donnetta Gay Davis-Jackson,
58, of Huntington, WV passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family
on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. She was
born on June 1, 1960 to the late Bertha Lee (Scott) Davis and Jesse Davis,
Sr. She is preceded in death by her brothers; George Davis, Jesse Davis,
Jr. and sister, Patricia Rankin. She leaves behind to cherish her memory;
husband, James Jackson; son, Joseph Anthony Jones, Jr. (Alesha); siblings,
Gregory Rankin (Corla), Lawrence Rankin, Jr. (Donnetta) and Quintina Davis.
Also, surviving is her grandson, Thaddaeus Jones; special niece, Amaia
Davis; best friends, Donna Wright and Helena “Reneé” Washington and a host
of many nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and friends. Funeral
services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M., Monday, November 5, 2018 at
Ferrell-Chambers Funeral Home with Rev. Reginald Hill, officiating. Family
will welcome friends at 12 Noon. Burial will follow at Spring Hill
Cemetery, Huntington.
