James Calvin Newton
(July 2, 1955 - September 24, 2018)

James Calvin Newton, 63, of Huntington, WV passed away September 24, 2018 at Cabell Huntington Hospital.  He was born on July 2, 1955 to parents, James Newton and Bertha Marie Breaux.  He is preceded in death by his daughter, Nikki Newton; and step-son, Leo Frazier.  He leaves behind to cherish his memory; his loving wife, Vivian Newton; daughters, Sabrina & Tenisha Newton; and step-daughter, Melba Kelly (Edward).  Also, surviving are his sisters, Gwendolyn Flemmings & Antoinette Lopez-Coles; brothers, Carlo Lopez-Coles & Theodore Newton; five grandchildren and a host of other family members and friends.  Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 P.M., Friday, October 5, 2018 at Ferrell-Chambers Funeral Home with Bishop Samuel R. Moore, officiating.  Family will welcome friends at 2:00 P.M.  Per James’ wishes, he will be cremated after funeral services are held.
