Edward Timothy Washington
(March 9, 1958 - September 14, 2019)

Edward "Timmy" Timothy Washington, 61, of Huntington, WV was called home on Saturday, September 14, 2019 at Huntington Health & Rehab following a long illness. He was born on March 9, 1958 to the late Porter Field Washington and Mildred Virginia (Cunningham) Washington but raised by his mother and step-father, Russell Cochran.  He is preceded in death along with his parents; one sister, Ann Washington. He rededicated himself to the Lord through baptism and proudly serving his Savior.  It is with great remembrance with heart filled memories that we honor such a kind hearted and loving person.  A veteran that proudly served his country and loved entertaining with everyone sining his favorite song, "Lets Get it On" by Marvin Gaye.  He entered a few lip sync contests and always had a crowd of supporters to cheer him on.  He leaves behind to cherish his life; wife, Helena Reneé Washington; children, Tocarro & Kendall Keith, Le-Rynta Jones, James & Jarod Washington and Andrew Smith; siblings, Porter Washington, Lorenzo Washington, George Washington, Steve Washington (Sharon), David Washington and Joe Washington (Bridgett).  Also, surviving are a host of many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, 12 nephews, 9 nieces and a host of other family members and friends.  Funeral services will be conducted at 12 Noon, Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at Full Gospel Assembly with Bishop Samuel R. Moore, officiating.  Family will welcome friends at 11:00 A.M.  Burial will follow funeral service at Donel C. Kinnard Memorial State Veterans Cemetery, Dunbar.
