Gerald Francis Savage

   Gerald Francis (Nick) Savage

 83, of Wurtland, KY., passed-away on November 13, 2020 at St. Mary’s Medical Center as the result of an automobile accident that occurred on October 30, 2020. He was born November 15, 1936 in Wurtland, KY. to the late George Franklin Savage and Mamie Young Savage. He attended Wurtland High School and was of the Christian faith.

   He retired in the late 1990s as an engineer from the C&O and CSX Railroad. Gerald was known as "Big Chew" to everyone. He also worked at the Outpost Restaurant in his younger days.

   Along with his parents, he was also preceded in death by two brothers: George David Savage, Charles Lowell Savage and one sister: Emma Jean Castle Miller.

   Gerald is survived by one daughter: Jeanetta Renea Savage Brown (Chris Brown) of Wurtland, KY., one son: Nick Savage (Christy Savage) of Wurtland, KY., three grandchildren: Lillian Savage, Willow Savage, Ava Savage and a host of nieces, nephews, family & friends who loved him very much.

   No services are scheduled at this time. A celebration of life will be planned at a later date. Ferrell-Chambers Funeral Home is assisting the family.
