ObituaryEARL K. HOFFMAN, 79 of Milton went home to be with his Lord, Sunday, April 2, 2006, in Sunbridge Nursing Home, Hurricane. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 5, 2006, at Heck Funeral Home, Milton, with Pastor Bill Davis and Pastor Daniel Beaver officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Memorial Park, Milton. Earl was born July 4, 1926, a son of the late Earl R. and Dorothy M. Sager Hoffman. He also was preceded in death by his first wife of 48 years, Frankie Lorraine Williamson; and one sister, Norma Jean Yeager. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Ann Hoffman; daughters, Deborah (Paul) Hoffman, Victoria (Roger) Durkin of New York, Naomi D. (John) Williams of Caanan Valley, W.Va.; one son, Earl Jr. (Bea) Hoffman of New York; sister Betty (Ray) Wolfe of Ohio; brother Donald (Grace) Hoffman of Arizona; stepchildren Scott (Sharon) Pierson, Rick (Diane) Pierson, Brett (Kristi) Pierson and Sharon (Donald) Chapman; 12 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren and a special great-granddaughter, Isabell. Mr. Hoffman served in the American Theather three years, also in the Navy and Army Reserves four years. Mr. Hoffman was a member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church. Military graveside rights will be conducted by American Legion Post 139 Milton. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 4, 2006, at Heck Funeral Home, Milton.
