Obituary

DEXTER McCOY, 65 of Ona, W.Va., passed away Monday, February 20, 2006, in St. Mary's Medical Center. Graveside services will be conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday, February 22, 2006, at Valley View Memorial Park, Hurricane, W.Va., with the Rev. Kim Stone officiating. Dexter was born January 31, 1941, at McAndrews, Ky., a son of the late Epp McCoy and Gladys May Chapman. Dexter served his country in the United States Army. He is survived by his loving wife, Sharon McCoy; one daughter and son-in-law, Mia and Randy Evans; four sisters, Eppileana Blackburn, Delcie Hatfield, Drema Varney and Vernice Deskins; two brothers, Edvert McCoy and Bob Chapman (Pat). There will be no visitation, and in lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to American Heart Association. Heck Funeral Home, Milton, is assisting the family with the arrangements.
