Obituary
Belma
B. Barker, 86, of Glenwood, went home to be with her Lord on Monday,
April 21, 2008 at her residence. Funeral services will
be conducted 2 p.m. Thursday, April 24, 2008 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton
with Pastor Ronnie Long officiating. Burial will follow
in
Pete
Meadows
Cemetery, Glenwood.
Belma was born October 19, 1921, in
Mason
County, a daughter of
the late George and Myrlie Holley. She is also preceded
in death by her husband, Joseph Barker; one brother and one sister, Roe
Holley and Vena Meadows. She was a member of
Fairfield
Methodist
Church.
She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Norman and Linda
Barker of
Glenwood,
W.Va.; one daughter and
son-in-law, Ruth and Ernest Edmonds of Kansas; two grandchildren, Deborah
Tanking and her husband Gery and Gregory Edmonds; one step-grandchild,
Pamela Thorpe and her husband Jeff; two great-grandchildren, Jourdan Tanking
and Madison Tanking; three great step-grandchildren, Andera Haas, Michael
Thorpe and Robyn Thorpe. Friends may visit from 6 to 8
p.m. Wednesday, April 23, 2008 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton.
