in St. Mary’s
Medical
Center.
Funeral service will be conducted 2:00 PM, Thursday, February 12,
2009 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton. Burial will follow in
Valley
View
Memorial Park,
Hurricane. He was born April 17, 1936 in Hager, WV a son
of late Lewis and Jane Adkins Plumley. He was also
preceded in death by his son, Danny Dean Plumley; sisters, Laura and Ethel
Plumley, Mable Neal, Thresel Cooper, Lucille Skeens, Nancy Hill; brothers,
Cedric, Ronald and John Plumley. He was the owner and
operator of Sportsman’s Inn,
Milton. He is
survived by his wife, Jewell Woodard Plumley; brother, J.A. and Ruth Plumley
of Hamlin; sister, Casseline Freeman of Sykesville, PA, and Velore Elkins of
Hamlin; brothers-in-law, Lawrence and Kathy Woodard and Junior and Marcella
Woodard all of Milton; sister-in-law, Rebecca and Greg Rowsey of Milton;
host of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 6 to
8 PM on Wednesday, February 11, 2009 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton.
