Nova Jean Edwards, 86, of Culloden, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, July 18, 2011 in St. Mary’s Medical Center, Huntington. Funeral service will be conducted 2 PM, Thursday, July 21, 2011 at Zoar Baptist Church with Rev. Winford Curry and Rev. Barry Cremeans officiating. Burial will follow in Culloden Cemetery. She was born September 21, 1924 in Cabell Co., WV a daughter of the late Matt and Pearl Falin Edwards. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Odell, Tom, Junior, Clinton, and Billy Jack Edwards; her sisters, Oma Swann, Goldie Clagg, Opal Vickers, Betty Hughes, and Margaret Edwards. She is survived by a sister, Maxine Maddox Conner (Lester) and sister-in-law, Becky Edwards both of Culloden; several nieces and nephews who dearly loved her like a mother. She was a very faithful member of Zoar Baptist Church for over 30 years. She was retired from Huntington Manufacturing (dress factory). Visitation will be Wednesday, July 20, 2011 from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 9 PM at Heck Funeral Home, Milton.
