Janice Ruth Shank Kessel Wild, 73, of Fraziers Bottom, went to be with the Lord on Monday, August 27, 2012. Daughter of the late Vernon Shank and Dolly Persinger Shank of Poca, Jan was preceded in death by her first husband, Ron Kessel, and her second husband, Jack Wild. Jan is survived by her son, Roy Kessel and daughter-in-law Linda; daughter, Kim Kessel and son-in-law, Bill Glover; five grandchildren, Kami Bryan, Kari Seager, Ron Kessel and his wife, Felicia, Cody Kessel, Casey Ennis; and four great-grandchildren, Wyatt Bryan, Tyara Seager, Karma Seager, and Julie Kessel. Jan is also survived by her sister, Brenda Harrison; brother, Michael Shank; and sister-in-law, Jo Shank; as well as many nieces and nephews. Waiting in Heaven for her were also her sister, Teresa Rhodes; and her brother, Harvey Shank. Jan was full of spirit and dearly loved by everyone who knew her. She will be greatly missed. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, August 28, at noon at Staten Chapel Cemetery with the Rev. Don Reynolds officiating. Heck Funeral Home, Milton is in charge of arrangements.
