Betty Jane Mount, 81, of Glenwood, WV went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 9, 2013 at her residence. Funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton with the Rev. James L. Dailey officiating. There will be no procession or graveside services. She was born September 4, 1932 in Cabell County, WV, a daughter of the late Muncie and Evelyn Marie Stevens. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie Mount; her son, Jerry Eugene Mount; a brother, James Stevens and one sister, Avis Carter. Betty is survived by two sons and three daughters-in-law, Ivan and Marcia Mount of Huntington; Johnny and Sue Mount of Glenwood and Alice Mount of Glenwood; one daughter and son-in-law, Marsha and Russell Mount of Glenwood; three brothers, Don Stevens and his wife, Joy of Texas, Bill Stevens of Huntington and Thomas Stevens and his wife, Judy of Huntington; one sister, Vivian Hardesty of Ona; eight grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
