Hershel C. Meadows, 86, of Lesage, WV, passed away Monday, September 16, 2013 in Cabell-Huntington Hospital. A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, September 21, 2013 at Pete Meadows Cemetery, Glenwood with Pastor Don Reynolds officiating. He was born September 21, 1926 in Glenwood, a son of the late Larry and Ada Meadows. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Bertha I. Meadows; one son, Hershel A. Meadows; three sisters and five brothers. Hershel is survived by one daughter, Clara L. Smith of Lesage; one son, Lonnie W. Meadows and his wife, Pam of Ona; one daughter-in-law, Patricia Meadows of Pt. Pleasant, WV; two granddaughters, Jessica L. Meadows of Charleston, SC and Miranda G. Meadows of Pt. Pleasant and one great grandchild. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, September 20, 2013 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton.
