Obituary



Max Lloyd Cooper, of Milton, went home to be with our Lord on Saturday, December 20, 2014 at the Hospice House in Huntington after a short illness. He was a loving father and husband. Max was born September 1, 1925 in Milton, WV, a son of the late Lloyd and Geneva Jenkins Cooper. Also preceding him in death were his step mother, Belva Cooper and brother and sister-in-law, Rex and Eileen Cooper. He is survived by his son, Frankie (Tana) Cooper of Milton and daughter, Geneva (Stephen) Bond of Huntington; granddaughters, Kristin Cooper and Ashley Bond; brother, Billy (Gerri) Cooper of Milton; sister, Ada Kay (David) Fetty of Williamson and special caregiver, Judy Blake. He was retired from ACF and he loved to fish and hunt. He was a member of Chestnut Grove Baptist Church and a Mason with the Lebanon Lodge 68, AF&AM, Milton, who will be conducting Masonic Rites. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, December 21, 2014 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Monday, December 22 at the funeral home with the Rev. Chelcie Gibson and the Rev. Mark Hesson officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Memorial Park, Milton. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Hospice of Huntington.
