Obituary
Ervin C. Reynolds,
76, of Milton, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 20, 2014 at
Cabell-Huntington Hospital. Funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m.
Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton with Rev. Larry
Chapman and Rev. Don Reynolds officiating. Burial will follow in McWhorter
Cemetery, Milton. He was born December 13, 1937 in Fraziers Bottom, WV, a
son of the late Clebert and Sarah Jane Black Reynolds. He was also preceded
in death by two brothers and two sisters. Ervin worked at Kerr Glass for 45
years, which became Ball-Foster Glass Containers before his retirement. He
is survived by his wife, Helen Joyce Fletcher Reynolds; two daughters and
sons-in-law, Mary and Mark Peele and Cindy and David Davis, both of Lucama,
NC; one son, Boyd D. Reynolds, also of Lucama, NC; six grandchildren, Johnny
“JR” (Laura) Peele, Michael Peele, James Revis, Jordan Hinnant, Joshua
Hinnant and Danielle Reynolds; one brother, Arnold Reynolds of Milton; and
two sisters, Sue Hodges and Rosalie Smith, both of Apple Grove, WV. Friends
may call one hour prior to the service Wednesday at the funeral home.
