Obituary
Barbara Marie Southerland,
69, of Milton, passed away on Thursday, September 11, 2014 at
Cabell-Huntington Hospital. Funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m.
Monday, September 15, 2014 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton with Pastor Chuck
Elkins officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Memorial Park, Milton.
Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, September 14, 2014 at the
funeral home. She was born August 27, 1945 in Naperville, IL, a daughter of
the late Edward and Lillian Moravick. She was also preceded in death by her
husband, Charles Raymond Southerland. Barbara was employed at Morris
Memorial Nursing Home, Milton for 29 years. She is survived by one daughter
and son-in-law, Laura and Charles Edmonds of Fraziers Bottom; two
grandchildren, Bradley Edmonds and his wife, Angie of Salt Rock and Brittany
Edmonds of Fraziers Bottom; one great grandson, Levi; and one brother, James
Moravick of Naperville, IL.
