Connie Sue (Leadman) Chapman
(October 8, 1953 ~ July 6, 2017)

Connie Sue Chapman, 63, of Milton passed away Thursday, July 6, 2017 at St. Mary’s Medical Center.  She was born October 8, 1953 in Cabell County, WV, a daughter of Opal Leadman of Milton and the late Denzel Leadman.  Connie was a member of Providence Baptist Church, Milton and a retired Teachers Aide with Cabell County Schools, having spent 44 years at Milton Elementary School.  In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Bill Chapman; daughter, Beth Chapman; son, Josh Chapman; brother, Larry Leadman; mother-in-law, Lou Chapman; sister-in-law, Beverly Chapman; special aunt and uncle, Mary and Bob Chapman; nieces and nephews, Eric and Crissy Leadman and Tracie and Kenny Carter; two great nieces, Carlee Leadman and Braxtin Carter; and two special friends, Joyce Gibson and Kathryn Davis.  Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, July 8, 2017 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton.  Funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 9th with Pastor Bill Spears officiating.  Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville.
