Mary Lee (Stowasser) Edmonds
(June 30, 1933 - December 30, 2018)



Mary Lee Stowasser Edmonds, 85, wife of the late James W. Edmonds of 54 years, left this world to be with her Lord on Sunday, December 30, 2018.  She was born June 30, 1933, a daughter of the late William Earl and Goldie Jane Stanley Stowasser.  She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Clayton Stowasser, Bill Stowasser and Jimmy Stowasser; and two sisters, Hazel Mae Jenkins and Opal Jordan.  Mary was a member and choir leader of Lower Creek Methodist Church and a retired LPN from Huntington Internal Medicine Group (known as “Treadmill Mary”).  She is survived by two sons, James “Mike” Edmonds and his wife, Darlene and Ronnie Edmonds and his companion, Becky Perry; four grandchildren, Shawna (Scott) Bumgardner, Dr. Scott (Amanda) Edmonds, Rachel (Justin) Gee and Travis Edmonds; seven great grandchildren, Eden and Ella Bumgardner, Ava, Eli and Easton Edmonds, and London and Leila Gee; one sister, Nancy Lipsey; and several nieces and nephews.  Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, January 3, 2019 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton with Pastor Jim Dailey officiating.  Burial will follow in Bias Chapel Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, January 2, at the funeral home.
