Opal Virginia Stratton
(November 13, 1922 - March 5, 2018)

Opal Virginia Stratton, 95, of Milton went home to be with the Lord Monday, March 5, 2018 in Cabell Health Care Center, Culloden.  She was born November 13, 1922 in Cabell County, WV, a daughter of the late Eli and Chessie Johnson Jackson.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Stratton; a son, Darrell Stratton and five brothers.  Opal was a homemaker and a member of Zoar Baptist Church, Milton.  She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Sara Stratton of Milton; six grandchildren, Darrell Stratton, Shannon Stratton, Misty Stratton, Jaime McCumbers, Seth Stratton and Grant Stratton; and nine great grandchildren.  Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 9, 2018 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton.  Funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 10, 2018 at the funeral home with the Rev. Winford Curry and the Rev. Phil Tomlin officiating.  Burial will follow in Enon Cemetery, Salt Rock.
