David Gene Williamson
(November 8, 1946 - October 8, 2018)

David Gene Williamson, 71, of Hurricane, WV, passed away Monday, October 8, 2018 in Cabell-Huntington Hospital.  He was born November 8, 1946 in Cabell County, WV, a son of the late Henry F. and Geneva Williamson.  He was also preceded in death by his ex-wife, Ruth Carol Williamson and two brothers, James “Sock” Williamson and Earl “Pudge” Williamson.  David was a veteran of the US Army.  He is survived by his son, David Duane Williamson of Milton; grandson, Mason Michael Williamson of Huntington; sister, Margie Keaton and her husband, Donald of Milton; brother, Dwight Williamson of Hurricane; and numerous nieces and nephews.  A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, October 18, 2018 at Liberty Baptist Church, Yates Crossing, Ona, WV with Pastor Kim Stone officiating.
