Kimberly Jane Pruitt
(April 1, 1963 - February 18, 2018)
Kimberly Jane Pruitt, daughter of the
late Ernest and Marilyn (Blankenship) Pruitt, passed away Monday, February
18. Kimberly was born on April 1, 1963 at Fremont Memorial Hospital in
Fremont, Ohio. She was a member of the Clyde High School graduating class
of 1981 and a former employee of Whirlpool Corporation in Clyde, Ohio.
Kimberly was well-known for her love of antiques, music and movies, free
spirit, sense of humor and her devotion to friends and family. Notorious for
mischievous antics such as daycare breakouts, candy raids and her infamous
scavenger hunts, Kimberly's imagination was surpassed only by her love for
children. She enjoyed watching sporting events in which her family members
were involved, her encouraging voice could be heard above others in the
crowd. Kimberly loved to play games. Whether she was playing a rousing game
of rummy or dominoes, annihilating you in a game of scrabble, or engaged in
waffle mania, Kimberly was always the life of the party. She hosted THE best
sleepovers. Her most beloved childhood memories include summers at her
grandmother's farm in West Virginia and growing up on Stoner Road. She is
survived by her two sisters, Diana (Jeffrey) Cable of Morganton, NC and
Karen S. Pruitt of Tiffin, OH. Nephews and nieces, Jason (Michelle) Brandt
of Findlay, OH; Jessica (Merl) Stanley of Morganton, NC; Michael Porter of
Mount Holly, NC; Rachel Porter of Mount Holly, NC; and Evyn Stevens of
Tiffin, OH. Great niece Jayda Brandt and great nephew Maddox Brandt. No

held at a later date.
